MORGANTOWN, WV – The Pitt men’s soccer team fell on the road at West Virginia, 2-0, Tuesday afternoon in its first of two exhibition games this season.

Redshirt-freshman Mikal Outcalt got the starting nod in goal for the Panthers and escaped the first half scoreless, making two saves. The Mountaineers struck first in the 69th minute off of a free kick and again in the 87th minute.

Pitt was unable to score, but attempted six shots with one on goal coming from sophomore Curren Page. The Panthers also had four corner kicks in the second half, thanks to a fresh set of Pitt players.
