VCU’s Rafael Santos had two chances, the first off a pass from Jorge Herranz 20 minutes in that slid past the right side of the goal.

Santos closed on Kozlowski from the left side and had his hard shot from 12 yards out stopped in the 40th minute. “Every game is different, every game brings a ton of emotions and its own battles, and today we rose to the occasion. VCU is a very good team, we handled everything they threw at us and we were right there when we needed to be,” said Chase Brooks, Duquesne Head Coach.
